We booked this Airbnb pretty last minute, and Christine was quick and responsive with communication, which made everything feel seamless from the start. Upon arrival, the home was exactly as pictured and described. It felt very safe, was extremely clean, and the bed was super comfortable. The location was perfect — close to all the tourist attractions and beaches in St. Augustine, but still far enough away to relax and unwind. The check-in process was simple and stress-free.
A quick PSA for anyone traveling with a large pet: while emotional support animals are welcome (as stated in the listing), there is still a pet fee. Pets must be crated when left alone and large pets aren’t allowed on the furniture. Traveling with my 130-pound Great Dane made things a little more challenging, so if you have a larger dog, it may be smart to plan ahead for accommodations such as day boarding.
The water heater/system pressure was somewhat limited, but it got the job done.

The location was very peaceful and quiet and the accommodations were clean and very comfortable. The kitchen was fully equipped, the bed was very comfortable and we were happy that it was dog friendly. Hopefully we’ll be able to book it again when we plan our next trip to St Augustine! Christine was a great host and made the cottage feel like home!!!

Perfect size Airbnb for a getaway to St. Augustine. My partner and I celebrated our anniversary here and the accommodations were incredible, less than 10 minutes from downtown St. Augustine.
We also enjoyed the privacy, very quiet part of town, no noise and very peaceful.
Would 100% recommend staying here, when we come back to St. Augustine we will make sure to book here again!

This is my second time staying at the flamingo 🦩 and it continues to be one of my favorite Airbnb‘s of all time! Additionally, Christine is the friendliest and most proactive/responsive host I have ever encountered. It really is a dream stay and as cute as the pictures. This time around I took my parents, who are in their 70s, and they agreed that it was far more comfortable and pleasant than any hotel we have stayed in the area. I fully anticipate we will come back in the future.
It’s so nice to enjoy Saint Augustine without having to stay in the noisy, cluttered downtown. A 5-minute Uber ride to avoid needing to park downtown for $20 is worth every penny, and ultimately cheaper—the only way to enjoy the area!

Beautiful home and exactly how it’s portrayed in the photos and description. Christine is a very responsive host and was a pleasure to deal with.
Home is lovely and we felt right at home. We would recommend this property and will certainly make one of our favorites and stay again if in the area.

Check in/ out was super easy and convenient, the home was very clean and also accommodating for our family with little ones. The communication with the host/ co-host was fast and effective, they were very friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay here again!

We stopped over driving to Texas from Miami with our 3 dogs. We booked Christine’s place about an hour out. She responded immediately and answered my questions about the shared entry. The place was very cute and perfectly comfortable. There is a beautiful cemetery across the street and we enjoyed walking around the perimeter. The downtown area of St. Augustine was super crowded and this was the perfect escape.

Our stay at The Hummingbird was absolutely wonderful! The space was beautifully decorated, clean, and cozy. But the real highlight was our host, Christine. Her communication was fast, friendly, and genuinely warm. She made sure we had everything we needed. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would definitely stay here again!

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay! We actually got to town earlier than expected and the host let us check in an hour early. Location was perfect as it was close to everything! Would definitely stay here again next time we’re in town.
